Moto Z2 Play Specifications leaks online ahead of launch

In the middle of this month the Moto Z2 Play was announced with impressive specs and global price in Nigeria and some other countries.

The smartphone happens to be an upgrade to the previous one launched last year,the Z2 is on the way to the market store because recently it just made another appearance which was leaked by GFXBench.

Based on the processor of the Moto Z2 Play is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 which makes it run on Android version of 7.1.1.


One thing is that the chip used in this smartphone is the same chip that Samsung Galaxy  and in fact the new GFXBench that was recently posted by  Geekbench shows that the  Z2 will be  offering a similarly high-performance experience.


In terms of memory the Z2 Play carries a 4GB RAM + 64GB of internal storage and not to mention the 47GB left for you to use as you see fit.


Let take a look at some of the Z2 Play specs;

  • Display: 5.5" display featuring a  2560 x 1440 screen resolution
  • Camera Options: 5 MP front camera + a 12 MP back camera
  • Storage Options: 4 GB RAM + 64 GB internal storage
  • Processor: it is being powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835
  • OS Version  Android 7.1.1 Nougat. 

Thanks to its Adreno 520 GPU now games ,images and video will look great on the Moto Z2 Play,there will be an OTA  update of Android 7.1.2 Nougat.

However the global price in Nigeria ill be announced soon so stay tuned but its previous version price is around N175,000 and Rs:37,000 in India.

These prices are categorized in the sense that they are based on the type of the device because one comes with 4G while the other comes with a 3G band which makes them price at a different rate.But the 4G band is more expensive than the 3G band.
